Having worked alongside Saman in the past, I was amazed at her exceptional skills as an attorney. I was particularly impressed with the detail-oriented, on-point, and thorough way that she approached each case. I felt privileged to join her at USILC. I previously worked as a solo practitioner, and I have come to revere the team environment and the collaborative nature in which the company works. I admire the quality of the firm’s work as I wanted to work in an environment where the attorneys were not only sufficiently able to take on various types of immigration cases, but also committed to fully representing the clients.
I am the consultation attorney in USILC’s Legal Department. I provide initial interaction with potential clients to determine the scope of representation and to better comprehend their objectives. With that knowledge, I can then choose a strategy to aid clients in reaching that objective and provide invaluable advice. My chief focus is on deportation defense and federal litigation cases, while also representing individuals in acquiring immigrant and non-immigrant visas. I have successfully represented hundreds of immigrants throughout my career, whether it was before USCIS, NVC, the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, or the Federal Courts. I have also litigated several federal cases concerning the rights of aliens and have argued before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. I assist clients both in English and Spanish.
At home, I cherish the quality time I spend with my family. When together, we enjoy pursuing adventurous activities such as boating, free diving, and traveling. Our trips to South America, and visiting places such as Machu Picchu, Brazil, Costa Rica, Europe and Canada have given us the invaluable opportunity to immerse ourselves in different cultures and absorb what we learn.
