Since joining US-ILC, I have been impressed with the organizational skills and levels of knowledge that my teammates possess. As a team, we care about our clients’ well-being and our main goal is to do the most optimal work on their behalf. If they succeed, we succeed. To ensure that we keep apace of the everchanging laws, processes, and innovations in the immigration field, we are continually evolving technology-wise. Each of us holds a crucial position within the team, based on our experiences and unique strengths. We have our own set of responsibilities and together we help ensure that no cases fall through the cracks.

US-ILC provides a healthy work/life balance to its team members, with enough flexibility to account for our individual needs. I am constantly growing and adding to the knowledge that I have already acquired in the immigration field. The attorneys are supportive and approachable, and there are resources available to us where we can obtain sufficient information and guidance. We function as a team. Working at US-ILC also fulfills my desire to support people seeking status in the United States, and to positively affect their lives.

As a member of the Paralegal Department, I serve as a liaison between the clients, attorneys, and legal assistants. My work involves using my proficiency in both English and Spanish to respond to client queries regarding visas, processing times, and legal changes that may affect their cases. I employ my extensive paralegal knowledge, which now spans six years, to successfully aid clients and the most pleasing part of my work is when I have positive news to share with clients, such as their case approvals.

The mysteries of the universe appeal to me. I am particularly drawn to astrology, and I believe I share certain traits with other Geminis like my wife, who shares my birthday. As an extrovert who is quite talkative and sociable by nature, I can initiate conversations with a broad host of people. This has helped me to build friendships. I have also developed an appreciation for food as more than just nourishment. I especially love omakase, a Japanese tasting menu that features a variety of fish courses. It is best paired with sake. My friends and I also enjoy participating in wine tastings to broaden our knowledge of this beverage.
