Since joining the team at US-ILC, I have felt a strong sense of belonging, and that I am in the right environment, working alongside team members who share a common mission. My desire to support immigrants drew me to this ever-changing field. I thrive on responsibility, respect, and empathy and I aim to build relationships with team members while practicing self-management. The most favorable aspect of my work is that I have the opportunity to familiarize myself with new laws and types of cases each day. Business immigration is a demanding area of immigration law, since most clients come to us already knowing what they need and expecting efficiency and professionalism. I relish this challenge and always rise to the occasion.

I was eager to accept a role at US-ILC due to my desire to secure a position at a successful firm with a top reputation in the field. I look forward to passing the bar in 2025 and continuing to work with the firm and progress as a professional. US-ILC promotes a high level of work ethics that is rarely seen in law firms. I am grateful to work in this type of environment that feeds our professional growth and facilitates our work processes.

Within the Legal Department, I oversee client relationship and serve as the point person between attorneys and clients or employers. I also manage cases and strive to ease the transition for employers and beneficiaries as they take the next step in their professional careers with our firm’s assistance. Like many of my teammates at US-ILC, I can communicate with our clients in both English and Spanish.

I was raised in Mexico and arrived in the US as a teen. I now reside at the border between Mexico and the US. This experience has gifted me with the unique perspective of witnessing life before and after coming to the US. I am thankful for this experience as I can now bring it to the work I perform on behalf of other immigrants. During my years in Mexico, I played professional basketball. It was a substantial part of my life, and I plan to return to the sport for another season. Through this experience, I acquired scholarships and gained new friendships. I also learned how to be a team player, and how to strategically place other people behind and before you based on who has the clearest path to scoring a team goal. This is a skill that I have learned to apply in a professional capacity as well. My other interests are gym workouts, reading literature on self-motivation and finance, and studying with the goal of continually acquiring knowledge.
