I respect the fact that each of my teammates at US-ILC brings their own unique perspectives and personalities to the company, which they are encouraged to express. This diversity has exposed me to a variety of work styles and expanded my general knowledge. Every day, I learn new methods from my teammates to perform my duties, and I know that I am enriching my knowledge. Most importantly, I’ve learned to execute the same processes in various ways while maintaining the same goals. Immigration offers a multitude of creative approaches to solving similar problems, since most problems are not simply black and white. I am amazed at these processes.

Since emigrating from Venezuela to the United States in 2021, I have embarked on plans to resume my legal career. When I was a child, I dreamt of becoming a lawyer. I previously practiced law in Venezuela, and I look forward to showing my young daughter the importance of pursuing goals. While in Venezuela, I used my legal background to serve as a socio-political secretary for ambassadors. In this role, I oversaw the social and political spheres of the embassy and acted as a liaison between the ambassadors and the public. Coming to the United States gave me the opportunity to start over.

I am grateful for the opportunities and stability that my role in the US-ILC Legal Department has afforded me. US-ILC offers its team members numerous avenues for growth. I work directly with the department’s attorneys and paralegals, supporting them in the preparation and finalization of client packages. I feel a sense of satisfaction recognizing that we facilitate the next step towards our clients’ dreams. I also follow up with clients and communicate with them in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to provide updates related to their case processes.

My family is the most vital part of my life, and I dedicate myself to being a haven of happiness and safety for my little daughter. I strive to create the ideal conditions for her to reach adulthood in a country that offers limitless opportunities for success. I express my love and respect for my family through food. I have a talent for creating a variety of dishes, driven by my willingness to explore new flavors and bring happiness to my family. Most of my inspiration comes from international recipes I discover on social media and through family tips. One of my greatest pleasures is to spend time with my family early in the mornings and at the end of each day when the work routine is over, when I can prepare my husband’s and daughter’s favorite foods. At times, I also share my dishes with teammates who appreciate international cuisine. My dream is to travel to Greece and Turkey in the future, as I am a world history enthusiast who has developed a passion for exploring ancient ruins and rich cultures. Another aspiration is to visit Iceland one day to witness the Northern Lights. I feel very grateful to God for granting me so many opportunities to live and enjoy all that He has for me.
