Jocelyn Vidal

I am employed within the Human Resources department. I have worked in law for more than 15 years, and I chose USILC because of how closely our goals aligned. As an HR Generalist, I oversee all aspects of HR, such as benefits administration, customer inquiries, as well as payroll, employee relations, recruiting and onboarding. I also oversee reporting and audits to ensure that the firm is in compliance with regulations.

The first thing that impressed me most about US Immigration Law Counsel® (USILC) was witnessing how much Alexia and Saman care about their employees. Alexia is adept at communicating in a way that helps employees to feel valued and heard.

The immigration field appeals to me on a personal level due to my family connections in Cuba. I am now able to witness the back-end part of immigration, as well as utilize my Spanish language skills to assist some of our customers. I enjoy being a part of a company that works tirelessly to help immigrants establish a new home in the United States.

My external interests span a broad range of activities. I regularly hone my artisan work through making soaps, candles, beard oils and other goods. Otherwise, I enjoy reading adult fantasy books. I am family-oriented, and I take pleasure in spending time with my husband and stepchildren.
